This is a Rockwell 20R, made at the Portsmouth Factory in the U.K., but with a different case styling. It is identical to that made in the U.S. for Sears and Roebuck (see the Sears 8M). As this example was found in France, it is possible that the different case style was for the Continetal market. The instruction manual is all in French, but the images show a more conventional Rockwell 20R. The internal I.C. has a date stamp of 7517.
Try it out---it works!
